This is part three of a multi-part series where we here at Blue-Turf.com will take a closer look at the Boise State 2017 recruiting class. Blue Turf recruiting analysts will breakdown Boise's recruits position by position to help us learn more about these newest members of the Bronco family.
Following the 2016 season which saw senior Tyler Rausa and Sean Wale graduate it appeared the Broncos were content to move forward with Joel Velazquez handling both the kicking and punting duties in 2017. Then Boise State had two walk-ons come to Boise State to challenge the “veteran.” The Broncos welcomed in Brandon Heicklen (P) and Haden Hoggarth (K) to challenge the young Joel for the starting jobs.
