Kellen Moore named to Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Watch List.

BOISE, Idaho - Preseason college football practice is beginning across the country, and the preseason award watch list season has also started with Tuesday's (Aug. 4) announcement that Boise State University's Kellen Moore has been named to the 2009 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Watch List.
Moore, a sophomore beginning his second season as the starter for the Broncos, joins a list that includes 32 other college quarterbacks.

As a red-shirt freshman last year, Moore started all 13 games for the Broncos leading the team an overall record of 12-1, the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championship and an appearance in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. He completed 281 of 405 passes for 3,486 yards, 25 touchdowns and an efficiency rating of 157.12 to lead the WAC.
He was named the WAC Freshman of the Year in 2008, and was named to the Football Writers Association of America's Freshman All-America team. He also received second team freshman All-America honors from Sporting News.
Semifinalists for this year's award will be announced on October 26 (Monday), with finalists announced on November 23 (Monday). The winner will be announced on December 10 (Thursday) during the Home Depot College Football Awards Show airing on ESPN. The recipient will also be honored February 15, 2010 (Wednesday) at the 33rd Annual O'Brien Awards Dinner at the Forth Worth Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
