Four-star CB, Jermani Brown commits to Boise State

Boise State fans, and media frankly, were shocked by the four-star commitment of Jermani Brown this evening.

We reached out to Jermani and he was more than happy to speak about his commitment:

Even thought the commitment caught many by surprise, Jermani said it didn't come out of nowhere. "Boise State has always had my attention and the biggest deciding factor for me was making sure me and the coaches were on the same page and that we have a foundation to build this four year relationship from."

Jermani isn't the first four-star commit reeled in by this staff, but with the early declaration, and late abandonment of previous big time recruits, Brown wanted to put Boise fans at ease. "I'm 100% committed to Boise State."

Brown describes himself as a physical corner who can play in all types of defenses. He also knows he's promised nothing and is determined to let his game speak for itself.

"I will let my training and everything else decide if I play early."

What was a sleepy Sunday afternoon has turned into quite the day for the Boise State Broncos.
