Boise State Signs 24 on 2016 National Signing Day
Boise State football head coach Bryan Harsin announced the signing of 24 individuals to National Letters of Intent, Wednesday.
The state of California produced the most signees, with 13 of the 24 student-athletes coming from the Golden State. Boise State also signed three each from Oregon and Texas, two from Arizona and one each from Nevada, Utah and Washington.
Of the signees, 13 came from the defensive side of the ball, including seven defensive linemen, five defensive backs and a linebacker. The Broncos also signed 10 offensive players – three offensive linemen, two each at tight end, wide receiver and running back, and a quarterback – and a punter/kicker.
In addition to the 24 signees, four scholarship student-athletes enrolled in classes in January for spring semester, including graduate transfer Will Adams (offensive line; Auburn), junior college transfer Cedrick Wilson, Jr. (wide receiver; Coffeyville CC), and Kole Bailey (offensive line; Twin Falls, Idaho) and Tyson Maeva (linebacker; San Diego), who each graduated high school early.
