Boise State signs 15 during early signing period


Boise State bolsters both sides of the lines and the defensive secondary.

The Boise State football team signed 15 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on the first day of the Early Signing Period, head coach Bryan Harsin announced, Wednesday.

Of the 15 recruits 9 are linemen with 3 offensive linemen and 2 tight ends on the offensive side and 4 defensive linemen on the defensive side.

Staying on the defensive side of the ball the Broncos beefed up their DB ranks with 5 defensive backs, 3 safeties and 2 corner backs.

The lone exception to the class and rounding out the 15 recruits was the 1 wide receiver

In all, nine of the signees were on the defensive side and six were on offense.

The signing class spanned from the Central Time Zone all the way to Hawaii, with seven signees checking in from California – the most of any state in the recruiting class, 2 from Texas, 2 from Washington, two from Hawaii, one from Minnesota and one from Idaho.
