Boise State Football Adds Graduate Assistants

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State head football coach Andy Avalos announced four graduate assistants for the 2021 season, Tuesday.

The quartet includes Tyson Prince and McCauley Todd on offense, as well as Jabril Frazier and Keanu Yamamoto on defense.

Prince was a recruiting assistant at Michigan State in 2015 and spent three seasons as a student assistant working with the Spartans’ wide receivers.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in 2019, he became a graduate assistant at Fresno State assigned to wide receivers. In 2020, he was offensive quality control for the Detroit Lions’ tight ends.

A three-year letterman as an offensive lineman at Montana, Todd began his collegiate-coaching career as an intern working with the Montana Western defensive line for the 2018 season. He was promoted to offensive line coach/run game coordinator/recruiting coordinator for the 2019 campaign.

Todd is a 2017 graduate of Montana with a pair of bachelor’s degrees (history and African-American studies).

Frazier returned to his alma mater in 2020 and enters his second year as a graduate assistant. Frazier was a two-time All-Mountain West honoree, including a first-team selection as a redshirt-senior in 2018

Following his Boise State career, Frazier signed a free agent contract and took part in the New York Jets’ 2019 training camp. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication from Boise State in 2019.

Yamamoto was an All-American defensive back at Linfield, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2016.

He was a player-coach for the Straubing Spiders of the German Football League in 2018 and spent the 2017-19 seasons at his alma mater as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator. In 2020, he was the recruiting operations coordinator at Oregon.
