With one of the winningest classes in NCAA history at 50-3 it is no surprise that Boise state is expecting a school record number of athletes to be drafted in the upcoming NFL draft on Thursday, April 26TH.

Last month a record number of NFL scouts attended the 2012 Boise State Pro Day which showcases many of the Boise State Seniors as they worked out for the scouts. ( See Pro Day 2012 slideshow below)

So while nobody knows for sure where these Broncos will end up Blue-Turf.com's own John Garretson took a shot at when and where that record number of Broncos might get drafted:

Round 2 No. 35 Minnesota Vikings: Safety George Iloka It's a bold call to say Iloka will be the first Bronco taken overall, a bit high as well, but all the pieces fit in this pick. The Vikings secondary is an actual mess, with the release of Cedric Griffen, age of Antoine Winfield, and the off-the-field issues of Chris Cook. Iloka is a shutdown defender with premier tackling, ranks at the top out of all the free safety prospects and could be the missing piece in this puzzle. Iloka has even mentioned that he would make the switch to cornerback, a position he's excelled at in the final games of the 2011 season. Scouts have moved Iloka up the board and I don't see him making it out of the 2nd round without getting picked up. Defensive-minded Head Coach Leslie Frazier will love what Iloka has to offer in his secondary.

Round 2 No. 53 Cincinnati Bengal: Running Back Doug Martin It's obvious the Bengals are searching for a new face for their ground game, signing BenJarvus Green-Ellis of the New England Patriots last week and bidding farewell to back-to-back-to-back +1,000 yard rusher Cedric Benson. Martin offers power, hardnosed running back who seems versatile in the running, blocking, and even receiving game. Cincy took a chance on former TCU and non-BCS star Andy Dalton and it paid off BIG TIME  an AFC Wild Card berth. I mean, it's not like Head Coach Marv Lewis and Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden made the trek to Boise State's pro day or anything…Once they put aside their school's rivalry, Dalton and Martin will continue to turn the Bengal's promising offense into an elite one. However, Martin's stock continues to rise so it also wouldn't surprise me if he's taken earlier.

Round 2 No. 59 Green Bay Packers:. Defensive end/Linebacker Shea McClellin: Another Bronco who impressed at the Combine and Pro Day, McClellin has fit in nicely as a linebacker prospect with his physique. The Packers need help in the outsider linebacker position across from Clay Matthews, as Erik Walden fell short of expectations. McClellin is no stranger to pass rushing, a sack-phenom in his days on the Blue, and with the Packer's linebacker blitzing schemes, McClellin looks too good to pass up on for Head Coach Mike McCarthy.

Round 3 No. 72 Miami Dolphins: Defensive End/Tackle Billy Winn I'm

confident that Winn will be taken in the 3rd round, but it's a matter of to whom. A fair amount of teams could use extra depth on their defensive front line, it all comes down to who is left. Winn has looked great, showing versatility in either a 3-4 or 4-3 package, is very explosive, and be an effective bull rusher. Now, his body and lack of "anchor" are some of his downsides, but the Dolphins need that presence and depth to their defense.

Round 3 No. 77 New York Jets: Defensive End Tyrone Crawford Winn's defensive mate Crawford has shown the promise and impact junior college transfers can have on a team. Crawford ranks in the top 10 amongst defensive ends and we saw the Jets take Muhammad Wilkerson last year and proved to be a threat. Rex Ryan loves to build his defense with as much depth as possible, and this is a position the Jets need more of. Boise State alum Kyle Wilson has already showed his presence for the Gang Green last year finally, hopefully Crawford will gel too.

Round 4 No. 104 Carolina Panthers: Offensive Tackle Nate Potter I

personally thought Potter would be taken earlier, being named a preseason All-American, but his speed has brought his stock down. Jeff Otah of the Panthers seems to be injury prone, specifically sitting out the entire 2010 season, and it couldn't hurt Carolina to look for a backup or in another case, develop into becoming a starter.

Round 6 No. 191 New Orleans Saints: Quarterback Kellen Moore This pick seemed to be destined from the beginning: Drew Brees is still in contract negotiations and at 33, no matter how great he is has the clock ticking. Moore and Brees share similar physical features and have great intangibles, and scouts at Boise State's pro day were wowed by Moore's performance. Best-case scenario, he learns from an All Pro quarterback and eventually gets his shot at starting in the NFL and worst case, he treats his time in the NFL to pad his resume for his coaching career.

Round 7 No. 253 Indianapolis Colts: Wide Receiver Tyler Shoemaker From an off the street free agent, Boise State's Pro Day did wonders (relatively speaking) for Shoemaker, who dazzled with his 4.48 40 time and vertical jump of 37", made a statement to be taken in the draft. The entire Colts offense will be revamped for the 2012 season, and new Quarterback Andrew Luck will need

receiving threats, and I believe Shoemaker will not only make the squad, but be a slot option for their passing game.
