Getting to know signee Quinton Richardson

When sports people hear the name Q-Rich, they most likely think of current NBA player and New York Knick three-point specialist Quentin Richardson. But around Husky Stadium, that name is soon to be known for a playmaking safety, one with good speed (4.46 forty) and an attacking style on the football field.

O'Dea High School's Quinton Richardson is slated to be a big part of the 2007 recruiting class for Washington. The 5-foot-11, 204-pounder earned All-Metro honors as both a safety and running back while at O'Dea, but expect to see him and his self-described killer instinct making and breaking up plays exclusively on defense for the Huskies.
