Cheyenne's D.J. Campbell

One of BearTerritory's top recruiting stories over the past month was that of Las Vegas (Nev.) defensive back D.J. Campbell. With just a little more than 24 hours before National Signing Day 2007, BearTerritory previews Campbell in his first ever Rivals photo segment.

As BearTerritory documented in D.J. the Rover, Campbell fits Cal's unique defensive rover position. Defensive coordinator Bob Gregory and Cal defensive back coach R. Todd Littlejohn feel they have the perfect fit in Campbell.

The 6-foot, 177-pound athlete is regarded by Rivals.com as the third best player in the entire state of Nevada for the 2007 class, and one of the Top 100 athletes in the entire nation.
