Another big weekend ahead for Cal

With only three recruiting weekends left until signing day, Cal's 2007 recruiting efforts are on maximum overdrive. In part, the staff has been in Arizona, Hawaii, New York, and both SoCal and NorCal in order to make this final push. BearTerritory takes a look at the expected visitors this weekend in Berkeley.

There are plenty of 2007 prospects that Cal is still recruiting hard - most of which have already made official visits to Berkeley. The list includes Long Beach (Calif.) Poly DE Kenny Rowe, Chandler (Ariz.) DE Cameron Jordan, Princeton (N.J.) DE Ernest Owusu, Ewa Beach (Hawaii) DT Matthew Masifilo, Woodland Hills (Calif.) LB Malcolm Smith, and Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey LB Robert Mullins, Oxnard (Calif.) athlete Malachi Lewis, Weed (Calif.) College of the Siskiyous JC CB Chaz Thompson, and Long Beach (Calif.) Poly CB Donovan Warren.

Notice all the players are defensive prospects? Some could play offensive, especially Lewis, who had remarkable prep career as a running back. However, the Bears are recruiting the Oxnard star as a defensive back. This weekend's visitors are also defensive players.
