Oaks Christian OL making name

By now almost every football fan is well aware of the juggernaut that is Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian. The Lions have been on TV the last two weeks and if there were any doubters there aren't many anymore after the two telecasts when Oaks Christian really showed their mettle.

Everyone has been impressed by the plethora of skill guys like five star quarterback Jimmy Clausen and five-star running back Marc Tyler but it is the offensive line that had one opposing coach on the short of the score tell Rivals.com was just as impressive.

One of those that received praise for his ability was offensive guard Cory Yriarte (6-2, 292, 5.3).

Yriarte's talent is very much appreciated by Oaks Christian head coach Bill Reddell.

"Corey can play football and he may be our best offensive lineman," Reddell said. "He's a definite D-I player and I will stake my reputation on it."

San Diego State and Fresno State have showed some interest in Yriarte but the word of his play against great competition is just getting out.
