Verbum Dei star lists UCLA No. 1

While the heat swelters across the country, high school football fans look forward to the upcoming season and high school players prepare themselves for summer practices which are set to start up over the next couple weeks. At Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles, expectations are high because of the tremendous talent that will take the field in September.

For 5-8, 160-pound athlete Reggie Dunn, summer workouts are interspersed with a little down time with family, friends and teammates and that was what the four-star prospect was doing Sunday night when caught up with him.

"Akeem Ayers and Jonathan Calhoun are at my house," Dunn said. "We just got done playing [NCAA '07] and we're playing Madden now. Pittsburgh, that's my team."

A member of the top 250, Dunn recently received a written offer from Oregon to go along with verbal offers from Arizona, Arizona State, and Cal. The new offer has only served to motivate the four-star prospect.
