Four-star gets written offer

Going into season four-star athlete prospect Reggie Dunn (5-10, 170, 4.4) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei wanted to prove to recruiters and fans that he is one of the best players from the Golden State regardless of position.

Dunn's work ethic and camp performances have gone a long way in giving credence to his four-star rating.

"Reggie has had a great off-season and that has been spurring him on," Verbum Dei assistant coach Owen Brown said. "He wants to prove to everyone he's the best wide receiver in the state.

It is picking up on the recruiting front for Dunn as he received his first offer in writing recently.

"Reggie has received some verbal offers, but Oregon has given him an offer in writing" Brown said. "Arizona, Arizona State, and Cal have given him one in writing.
