Michigan top two for Vegas athlete

The key to the recruiting process for Las Vegas (Nev.) Cheyenne athlete D.J. Campbell seems to be just getting out in front of college coaches and recruiters. The 6-0, 185-pound prospect first showed his stuff at the NIKE Combine in March, then performed again at the SoCal NIKE Camp in April. When he went to catch passes for the Elite 11 tryout in Las Vegas, Campbell was already a household name.

For now, Campbell holds one offer, from Fresno State, but is hearing from a wide range of teams including Michigan, Cal-Berkeley, Michigan State, Arizona State, Oregon State and Washington. Michigan has been recruiting him since this past winter.
