Yriarte looking for big season

Cory Yriarte has been pro-active in his recruitment. The 6-foot-2, 295-pound offensive lineman took unofficial trips to Colorado, Washington, Washington State and Cal-Berkeley this spring. And he has already attended camps at Southern Cal, Arizona State and San Diego State this summer.

"USC's camp was great because of the great coaching and because it was so intense," he explained. "I also got a lot out of the San Diego State camp. I learned some stuff about my technique that I need to work on. I might go to Colorado State's camp in July but other than that, I'm done with camps."

Yriarte has yet to pick up his first offer. He lists San Diego State, Arizona State, Colorado State, Colorado, Washington, Washington State and Cal as the programs that have shown the most interest.

"Most of them have just said that they want to see senior film," Yriarte said. "I don't have a favorite or anything. I'm just waiting to see how this all unfolds."
