Getting to know the Buffs' latest commitment
Tyler Ahles did not need much time to make his college decision after his dream school extended a scholarship offer.
The 6-foot-2, 226-pound inside linebacker from San Bernardino (Calif.) Cajon became the Buffs' fifth known verbal commitment from the Class of 2007 earlier this week.
An all-league selection in three sports this past year, Ahles impressed the Colorado's coaching staff with his athleticism and playmaking ability at their three-day camp last week. He took time out to talk with BuffStampede.com about his decision to commit:

Tyler Ahles: "It was Monday. I talked to Coach Cabral on the phone and he asked me if I wanted to be a Buffalo."

"I had been there a couple times just to check it out. I went out there last spring to check out the campus and I was at a camp just last week for three days and I just really like it a lot. I like what they are doing out there. That's kind of where I've wanted to go for a while."
