State of UCLA recruiting - Part II

It would have been understandable if Bruins would have worried a bit with the departure of running back/recruiting coordinator Eric Bieniemy to the Minnesota Vikings. Under Bieniemy's guidance the Bruins took a very aggressive stance on the recruiting trail and ended up with a great haul.


More importantly every one of UCLA's pledges ended up signing with UCLA even though many of their prospects were recruited by other schools all the way up to signing day.


Enter new recruiting coordinator Dino Babers who took the job running and the Bruins haven't looked back.


The Bruins are taking a backseat to no one of the recruiting front and their winning head-to-head recruiting battles against USC gives you an indication where this group of coaches are going.
