Blackledge has a Pac-10 offer

Whether it was through the air or on the ground, Daniel Blackledge punished opposing defenses as a junior in 2005.


The 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete from Colorado Springs, Colo., Palmer was rewarded with first-team all-American League honors.


"One of the things that makes Daniel stand out is his work ethic," said Palmer High head coach Rod Baker. "He works really hard to improve on the little things. He did even last season as the season progressed.


"He got better and better at catching the ball with his hands, not letting it to get to his body as a receiver. He also worked on getting better at finishing plays. The last four games, he had more than 35 catches and really came on."
