Back in July, Richmond (Va.) Varina athlete Davon Morgan committed to Virginia Tech over an offer from Michigan. This past weekend, the 6-foot-0, 184-pounder finally took his official visit to Blacksburg.

"Everything on the visit went well," he said. "I got to talk to the coaches some more and learn what my role will be there.

"I also hung out with the players and talked to some of my future teammates. I was able to talk to Victor Harris, Xavier Adibi, Cory Holt and Corey Gordon. I talked a lot with Khalil Latif too. We talked about our seasons and got to know each other better."
