Coming back from injury, Richmond (Va.) Varina athlete Davon Morgan finished the year helping the Blue Devils to an 11-2 season. The 6-foot-0, 184-pounder played well in the four games he was in this season.

"Our team finished 11-2 and did really well," he said. "I can say the whole team got better with every game. I was really happy I got to play football again in my senior year too. I was able to contribute to this team and I think I was even better because I was more patient at defensive back. I ended up playing in four games all the way up to the state semifinals where we lost and finished the year with two interceptions. I should have had another against Chantilly, but it went right through my hands."
