Eufaula (Ala.) athlete Jerrel Jernigan committed to Troy University back in October, but the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder isn't through with recruiting just yet. Not with Auburn getting into the mix more and more.

Jernigan, who amassed more than 2,000 all-purpose yards as a senior, took an official visit to the Plains this weekend.

"We got here Friday and ate dinner and met with my host, Zac Etheridge," said Jernigan. "He took us around town and then hung out that night. He's from Troy and I played against him my junior year. He's a good fellow.
