Two Alabama prospects have made their decisions about where to play college football. Dual-threat quarterback/athlete Jerrel Jernigan of Eufala High and Dothan (Ala.) Houston Academy wide receiver Stanley Jones both have given a verbal commitment to Troy.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Jernigan also was interested in Jacksonville State and Georgia Tech.

Jones rushed for 1,134 yards and 12 touchdowns during his junior year. He also caught 11 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns and totaled 74 tackles and had four interceptions.

Jones also had an offer from Memphis.
