Sun Devils in top three for DeMartinis
Sherman Oaks, Calif., Notre Dame High School standout Sam DeMartinis is one of the more highly regarded offensive line prospects in the state. At 6-foot-6 and 252 pounds, DeMartinis is garnering offers from schools from coast to coast.
"I have offers from Mississippi State, UNLV, Washington, Clemson, Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado, Colorado State, Washington State, Oregon, Utah, Virginia and Nevada-Reno," DeMartinis said.
During his play on the field last season for Notre Dame, DeMartinis said he averaged, "around 8 pancakes a game." He also competed in the shot put where he placed third in his league while qualifying for CIF.
DeMartinis is a close friend of teammate Charlie Carmichael, who committed to Oregon earlier this month, after considering the Sun Devils The duo spent last season blocking for incoming ASU running back Rodney Glass.
