Calography with Alex Lagemann
One of BearTerritory's most popular segments over the past year has undoubtedly been Calography. While 2006 was a banner year for the feature - a photo segment which gives fans a completely new insight of potential Cal football and basketball recruits - 2007 could be even better. Lagemann, who holds Pac-10 offers from Cal and Oregon, is Saratoga's top prospect since the days of Greg Van Hoesen, currently a star linebacker for Cal. Alex had 43 catches for 736 yards and eight touchdowns during his 2005 junior season at Saratoga, garnering 1st team all league and 2nd team all-State selections. He was also the most valuable receiver in his league and one of those players that a coach can't help but rave about.
"He's just a great kid," Saratoga head coach Kurt Heinrich said to BearTerritory in a previous interview. "He's an outstanding student off the field. On the field he plays hard; plays smart.
