Weakside defensive end prospect Akeem Ayers, who is from Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles, is a solid 6-foot-2, 214-pounder that has recently been awarded with a four-star rating by Rivals.com. The Oregon Ducks are among the schools to have offered this top-notch prospect from California and the offers just keep coming in for him.

"I have picked up two new offers, verbal offers from Washington and Michigan," Ayers said. "They offered me in May. Their coaches came out and spoke to me and they ended up offering."

Ayers also has offers from Arizona, California, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oregon, San Diego State, and Washington State and is also getting recruited heavily by UCLA and Notre Dame.
