Thomas enjoys visit to Blacksburg

HokieHaven.com Ashland, Va., Patrick Henry athlete D.J. Thomas currently holds a lone offer from Virginia Tech, but other schools are beginning to show increased interest in the 5-foot-10, 170-pound speedster.
Thomas, who also stars for the track team, recently clocked a personal best in the 100 meters coming in with a time of 10.93 seconds.
The Hokies, who've shown the most interest up to this point, believe Thomas could star at a number of positions at the next level.
"Right now, we're trying to gauge what other schools are interested," stated Patrick Henry Coach Scott Brown. "It's still early in the process and D.J. is excited by the amount of attention he's receiving, but he's also smart enough to realize what schools are genuinely interested in which schools he just happens to be on a mailing list."
