DeMartinis likes what Washington has to offer
It may only be spring, but for coaches and recruits the season hardly slows. This past weekend the Huskies put on a show for fans and recruits.
Offensive tackle Sam DeMartinis from Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks, CA. made the trek up the coast with teammate and fellow lineman Charlie Carmichael.
DeMartinis is a quick, athletic 6-foot-6, 275-pound tackle that, like his teammate Carmichael, is drawing a lot of interest from schools around the country. DeMartinis' trip included stops at Oregon, Oregon State and eventually Washington. Both families had a chance to take a look at the city as well as grab some dinner on Lake Union after the spring game.
DeMartinis was impressed with what he saw during his short stay.
"I think the scrimmage went well. I was surprised at how many people were there. It seems like it could get pretty loud there."
